FAQ
1.) Will my child be guaranteed to play?
Absolutely! Pop Warner has mandatory play count requirements for each child. We strive to teach the fundamentals of the game, which can only happen with field experience. Players will also get to play a variety of positions to fully understand each role.
2.) What do I need to provide for my player and what does the league provide?
The first two weeks of practive are for conditioning, so your player will just need shorts, t-shirt, & cleats.
After two weeks, players will need practice pants with pockets and practice jersey. A support cup is recommended but optional. (Players will not be permitted to wear game jersey/pants to practice)
The league will provide game uniform, helmet, shoulder pads, pants pads, & a mouthpiece.
3.) Are there family discounts? ¨ Registration Fee ¨ Registration Form ¨ Waiver Form ¨ Medical Form ¨ Physical *Must be completed on Pop Warner Form ¨ Copy of birth certificate ¨ Copy of last report card *Not required for children entering kindergarten * Please note that players will be unable to participate without all necessary documents.
Yes, as listed above there are price breaks for additional children, whether in football or cheer.
4.) Why does the league hold fundraisers if we pay registration?
We strive to keep the cost of registration as low as possible for our participants. It actually cost around $170 to suit up one football player, though we only charge $80 and offer discounts for siblings. We are also responsible for association fees and insurance, so we must supplement with fundraisers to keep our league going. All board members and coaching staff are unpaid volunteers.
